Cauliflower is excellent when the nights are cool;

Cauliflower is, in many ways, the marquee crop an agricultural craftsman. It's not particularly more difficult than, say, broccoli, but like Celery, Radicchio, or Melons, Cauliflower requires near constant attention in the field, and action at certain points in its development to ensure a top quality product.

I like curried cauliflower, either as a stew or as a pureed soup with cream. It pickles well and is also good raw. I sometimes put it in to my meat braises as well.
