Radicchio is best in cooler weather: May 15 - late June and
October 10 - November 30

Radicchio isn't for everyone, even at its sweetest it's still a little bitter. But if you like challenging foods, this one is uncomplicated to handle: divide it into quarters or eighths, grill it or broil it, dress with olive oil, salt, and lemon and serve.
