Spring Radishes

Radishes are tastiest in cool weather,
May 7 - July 1; September 21 - November 27

A familiar vegetable, the best thing to do with spring radishes is to just clean and serve them with good bread and good cultured butter. Finely slice and dress for a sandwich topping, or small dice them and toss with olive oil, preserved lemon, and chili powder.  They are also great for overnight pickling.
