Summer Squash

These are great from June 21 - September 21

Summer squash and Zucchini, which for culinary purposes are the same except that some are more suitable for stuffing than others. For shape reasons.
     I like to slice them about a half-inch thick, season them and grill them, batter and fry them, or broil them.  The rounder eight-ball and patty pan types are great for coring, stuffing and roasting. For me, the stuffings are usually roasted garlic, aged to very aged cheeses, and toasted nuts. But it's all about personal taste.
